history / background :
1982 – 1992 : lives in graz, reads and listens to music too much. makes degree
in architecture. moves into a 10-person commune. eventually got offered an old
(farm) house on the outskirts of the city, and turned it into a music studio.
this would soon become the central venue
for experimental groups 'auch wenn
es seltsam klingen mag' (even though it may sound strange)
and '8 ODER 9' (8 OR 9).
he also played guitar in the grunge rock band 'skin' (as a singer /songwriter).
concerts in graz, wien, hamburg, berlin, ljubljana.
1993 – 2001 : lives in vienna (in the summer), buys a mac, creates the first two
'easy listening'
albums, plays at electronic music events. occasional gigs as a teacher
at
the 'school of poetry' (sfd.at). contributing some noise for orhan kipcaks's 'ars doom'
(often referred to as the first art computer game) - at the 'ars electronica' festival.

lives in miami (in the winter), producing 'easy listening' 3-5 and 'elevator' 1-3,
making music for no-budget-films und MTV latino. co-hosting and curating a series of
large drug-fuelled underground parties (the 'kava art club') – featuring
experimental
music, live concerts and DJs in an old warehouse on the miami river.
2002 – 2020 : lives in vienna (in the summer), writing his 'rhythmic prose', developing
his own style, and somehow compiling what would become the first volume of 'worten'.
occasionally playing electronic concerts (donaueschingen).
lives in india (in the winter) – most recently in arambol/goa, running a
large vegan
restaurant / yoga center called the 'magic park', and curating
- and participating in -
a long-running series of improvised acoustic / amplified live music / dance
events
(with 200-300 participants), called 'white night'.
2020 – now : lives in vienna (full-time). surviving covid by not watching TV.
releasing
the 'waves' trilogy. between lockdowns :
quickly performing at the 'wiener festwochen'.
also, he and writer stefanie wolff
were invited to perform a series of 'musical readings',
combining their
individual flavors of 'symbolistic prose'. this was happening at the
legendary
'perinet-keller', the historic venue of the 'wiener aktionisten'.
