resonating with our collective (sub)_consciousness.
in 2021, after a long break from the studio – spending a lot of time in india, writing
his poetry and rhythmic prose, singing in a rock band, playing a few electronic concerts –
duca has finally released a series of new albums : the "waves" trilogy.

as boomkat.com (UK) wrote, "… this marks the return of a lowkey but vital figure
from the '90s experimental electronics scene, whose series of LPs ('easy listening' and
'elevator' caught eyes and ears in record shops around the world, most after making their
way to chill-out sessions and the best record collections. curd duca's return could hardly
be better timed for an era clearly in need of enchantment and peace."

since a lot of his ‘easy listening’ tracks were actually quite experimental,
he got invited to release new material on legendary techno label ‘mille plateaux’.
the following records were produced in miami, his winter residence at the time.

the 'easy listening'albums were duca's first experiments in finding his new style –
heavily influenced by early techno, musique concrète, and the music he grew up with,
which would eventually re-incarnate in the '90s as the big "easy listening" revival.
