history / background :

1982 – 1992 : lives in graz, studies architecture, reads and listens to music too much.
moves into a 10-person commune. eventually, he got offered an old farm house, a little
outside the city, and turned it into a studio. this would soon become the central venue
for experimental groups "auch wenn es seltsam klingen mag" (even though it may sound strange)
and "8 ODER 9" (8 OR 9). he then played guitar in the grunge rock band "skin"(as a singer /
songwriter). concerts in graz, wien, hamburg, berlin, ljubljana.

1993 – 2001 : lives in vienna (in the summer), producing the first two "easy listening"
albums, playing electronic concerts (at various venues). occasional gigs as a teacher at
the "school of poetry" (sfd.at). contributing sounds for orhan kipcaks's "ars doom" project
(often referred to as the first art computer game) at the "ars electronica" festival.

lives in miami (in the winter), producing "easy listening" 3-5 and "elevator" 1-3,
making music for low-budget-films und MTV latino. co-hosting and curating a series of
sporadic large drug-fuelled underground parties (the "kava art club") – featuring
experimental music, live concerts and DJs in an old warehouse on the miami river.

2002 – 2020 : lives in vienna (in the summer), developing his distinctive
style of rhythmic prose, compiling the first book of the "worten" series.
occasionally playing concerts (donaueschingen).

lives in india (in the winter) – most recently at arambol/goa, running a
large vegan restaurant / yoga center called the "magic park", and curating
(and participating in) a long series of improvised live music and dance
events (for 200-300 participants), called "white night".

2020 – now : lives in vienna (fulltime). surviving covid by not watching TV.
releasing the "waves" trilogy (one album per year). between lockdowns :
performing at the "wiener festwochen". also, he and writer stefanie wolff
get invited to perform a series of "musical readings", combining their
individual flavors of "symbolistic prose". this happened at the legendary
"perinet-keller", the historic venue of the "wiener aktionisten".
